Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal service order founded on March 29, 1882, by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, to provide mutual aid and support to Catholic families. Guided by the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, its over 2.1 million members nationwide benefit from a robust insurance program and engage in extensive volunteer work. Knights contribute more than 75 million service hours and over $875 million annually to charitable initiatives—from parish-based outreach to global relief—putting faith into action to strengthen families and communities.

Melrose – Knights of Columbus

Founded in 1895, Melrose Council #128 is a fraternal order of Catholic men devoted to putting faith into action. Inspired by the core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, our members commit their time, energy, and hearts to serving those in need—locally and globally.
