Each year, the Melrose Knights of Columbus Hall is honored to host the Hometown Heroes celebration—a heartfelt tribute to the veterans and first responders who serve our community with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. This free program is our way of saying thank you, with a warm lunch prepared and served by the Knights, and uplifting entertainment that brings joy and connection to all who attend. It’s more than a meal—it’s a moment of fellowship, reflection, and shared gratitude, where neighbors gather to honor those who protect and serve. In the spirit of Christian charity and brotherhood, we’re proud to open our doors and our hearts to the heroes among us.
Home for the Holidays
There’s no better way to wrap yourself in the warmth of the season than joining the Melrose Knights of Columbus for one of the most beloved moments of Home for the Holidays! As the twinkling lights along Main Street come to life, our doors swing open to welcome families and friends into a festive haven filled with laughter, music, and the magic of Santa Claus himself. Rumor has it he traded his sleigh for a fire engine just to make a dramatic entrance—and yes, he still manages to keep his beard perfectly fluffed. From cozy cups of hot cocoa to joyful holiday tunes and cherished photo ops with the big man in red, this event is a heartwarming tradition that brings our community together in celebration.
